SCHOOLS MAY GET IMPROVED HEATING.(CAPITAL REGION)

Lake Avenue Elementary School and the Saratoga City School District's Junior High School will convert to hot water heating if the Board of Education Tuesday votes to spend the $3.34 million for the two projects.

On Thursday, the board put aside a districtwide committee report and decided to apply to the state Department of Education for permission to sell the bonds to spend on the two high-ticket capital projects.

The committee's report had recommended 37 smaller projects to the district to consider undertaking this summer. The Facilities Improvement Team committee recommended the board consider the two …
