NSW: Two treated after brawl in western Sydney
Two men were taken to hospital after a brawl involving up to 20 people in Sydney'swest last night.
Police say officers were called to Raw Square in Churchill Avenue, Strathfield, about2am (AEST) to break up the fight.
A police spokeswoman says the group disbanded when the officers arrived but two menhad to be taken to hospital.
She says one had a 12-centimetre cut to his kidney area after being stabbed with a broken bottle.
He was treated at Concord Hospital and released.
The other man had a broken jaw and will see plastic surgeons at the Royal Prince Alfredhospital later today.
Police believe robbery may have been a motive for the altercation and investigationsare continuing.
