City attorneys practised without required certificates - Law Society.(News)

THE Cape Law Society has accused two attorneys - Anthony Reynolds and Michael Reynolds - in the Western Cape High Court of breaking the law by failing to apply for the necessary certificate from the society that is required for them to practise law.

It further accuses their firm - Roup Reynolds & Associates - of having irregular audit reports and of forging the name of the auditor under whose name the reports were submitted.

The forgery allegations have since been referred to the police.

The Reynoldses have denied the allegations.
