Fed: Government bribing business to push IR laws, Gillard says
JULIA GILLARD's accusing the government of bribing Australian business .. to push its
controversial Work Choices laws.
40 industry .. business and employer groups have reportedly received over 20 million
dollars from the government .. to educate their members about the year-old industrial
relations laws.
In exchange .. the government wants them to pay for their own advertising campaigns
in support of Work Choices.
The shadow industrial relations minister says she doesn't blame companies for taking
the money .. but the HOWARD government is using it as a political bribe.
